TysiPhoneHelp.com is now live. Make sure you go check it out. And register for the forum and chat it up. I will have the downloads page done soon. And yes as you may have noticed the blog has moved to the homepage of tysiphonehelp.com. So there will be nothing else posted here anymore. TysiPhoneHelp DOT COM!
Yes i am very very very very very happy to do this post! Ok so as im sure you know my website tysiphonehelp.com has been down for a good while now. I could have got it back up but Godaddy.com, my hosting provider, was really really getting on my nerves. It was their fault that the site was shutting down, this is not the first time this has happen, it was just some issue that they weren't billing to the correct account or some crap. Anyways...Now for the gooooood news, a guy named Francisco contacted me and said that he has an offer for me. So of course i was interested in reading it. Basically the message was saying that he is with a company called QXTechnologies.com and they are willing to host my website tysiphonehelp.com for me for free. So of course i took the offer and i am very happy to say that tysiphonehelp.com should be back up in a few days. From what ive seen it looks awesome! I will have a video on my youtube channel as soon the site is ready for you all to come and visit and sign up. And yes the blog will be moving again, sorry about that, BUT it will now be the homepage of tysiphonehelp.com so thats awesome, ive wanted that for a long time now. Thanks so much for the support.

Installer Update - 4.0b6-5
So an update to Installer came out today. The only feature i have noticed is that they have added a new tab to the bottom called "Search". Im sure they have did a few behind the scenes things like bug fixes and stuff. But mainly the thing is the new search option which is awesome. Installer should give you a popup telling you there is an update just refresh your sources if you don't get it. Tell me if you guy think that the new installer runs any better for you in the comments.
More on the New iPod Touch Rumors
Ok so i have made a previous post on this, its somewhere back there. But now more rumors have been released from Kevin Rose. We don't know if this is true or false, but i can garantee that a new iPod will be released seeing as how Apple always updates its iPod in Aug. - Sep. So i expect to see it really soon...Here are the things Kevin Rose says on his blog...
- Revamp of entire iPod line.
- Small cosmetic changes to Touch, Nano to see significant redesign (see pic below).
- iPods to see fairly large price drops to distance itself from the $199 iPhone.
- iPod touch 2.1 software, iPhone to get update very soon after.
- iTunes 8.0 (”it’s a big update w/new features”).
- All of this coming in the next 2-3 weeks.
Supposedly the picture above is of the new iPod nano.

New Ziphone Coming!
So apparently a new Ziphone is coming. I will have more information as soon as its released. But i just want to say that i think its funny that Quickpwn, the new application for a faster jailbreak, is posted on the Dev Team's blog two days ago early in the day and then all of a sudden out of the blue Zibri post about a new Ziphone coming later that same night.....he should just admit it....tell me what you think?

Colors 1.0, a theme i made.
So i posted a video on the Dock application and had a theme that i created really quickly installed on my phone in it. So youtube user mmisuck asked if he could have the theme so i figured i would upload it. But before you go strait for the download let me talk about it and more themes i will be working on. Ok so the theme takes advantage of the new feature Winterboard provides, if you don't know what that is, it lets you display a webpage as your wallpaper and a ton of other things. But in this theme the background will change every 3 hours around the clock. There aren't any icons with the theme just yet but i will be working on that soon and also porting my older themes to include most of the app store icons. Ok now for the download...first download it here unzip it and then ssh the Colors 1.0 folder into Library/Themes. You shouldn't have to change permissions. You just need to have Winterboard installed and then select it and there you go. :)

QuickPwn Updates and adds a UI!
So of course i make the video today on the version of QuickPwn without a UI and then they go and update it the same day and add a UI to it. lol I am uploading the video now on the update and how to use it. Its basically the same process just cuts off about 20 seconds.

Rolando a clone of LocoRoco(psp) for iPhone/iPod Touch
OMG I am really really excited to see this app! I have a psp along with my iPhone and i have a game called LocoRoco, and well its my favorite game of all time on psp. And i have recieved word that a clone is in the works for iPhone and iPod Touch users called Rolando!!! While playing LocoRoco on psp you only use the R and L buttons. When the R button is pressed your screen tilts right and your LocoRoco(the little balls things that is your character) rolls across the screen. Same with the L button when its pressed it tilts to the right. When both buttons are pressed and one is released your LocoRoco will jump to the right, and same with the L button just it jumps to the left(obliviously). And if you release both L and R buttons at the same time it jumps strait up. This may be a little bit confusing, but if you don't understand search on youtube and you will get the picture. :) I actually thought about how awesome it would be if LocoRoco was on your iPhone, and i though "WOW, A game perfect for the use of the accelerometer." But as you will see in the video demo of Rolando, or at least it looks like it to me that you use your finger to direct your ball, i don't know what it is called on Rolando. lol Another kool thing that i liked about LocoRoco were the awesome music it had to it, i mean i have to say at first i thought it was kinda gay, but as i played more and more i LOVED the songs, they were so catchy! But as you will see in the demo the song gets kinda annoying. But overall looks like an AWESOME app, i can't wait to see and here more from this and hopefully it will take advantage of the accelerometer. But that we will just have to see. QuickPwn Released
Basically QuickPwn is a faster way to pwn your iPhone, or iPod Touch without having to completely restore it. I have downloaded it now and am doing some testing then i should have a video up in a little while. I want to make sure if there are any bugs i figure out the fix. And one good thing about this is that it says on the Dev Team's blog post that this can't permanetly damage your device!...so thats good. lol For more check out the Dev Team's blog.

Installer Updated to 4.0b5
Installer has now updated to 4.0b5, which if you don't know stands for 4.0 beta # 5. It will be in the Updated Packages section of Installer, with the name, of course, Installer. If you don't see the update tap the sources tab and then the refresh button in the top left corner. Then it should be displayed in Updated Packages. Below are the updates that the new beta version of Installer provides.
- Many visual enhancements and fixes in regards to source and packages display.
- Fixed an issue with failing installs with dependencies under some circumstances.
- Fixed a bug causing package information to be displayed incorrectly (size 0 bytes) on the first access, or when the custom information HTML page (such as packages from Big Boss’ repository) was not displayed.
- When updating a package, and one of its dependencies also has an update available, the dependency will be updated as well.
- The package icons will only be downloaded when on the Wi-Fi to help you save on bandwidth.
- The repositories are being refreshed upon Installer.app launch so you always stay on the bleeding edge with the updates. This is experimental behavior and we’re not yet sure it will make it to the final release.
- Fixed a script command Confirm that was returning invalid button index for the “OK” button.
- Lots and lots of both cosmetic and internal application core fixes that improve the overall performance, presentation and stability of the application.

If i do get caught up on them i promise not to let it get out of hand again. lol Oh and ive been adding more cracked apps to the secret page so make sure you keep checking back on that i will have more as the day goes on. :) oh and i just realized that i keep forgetting to put my video intro in the videos. lol

Question and Answer

Costs of the 3G iPhone
Now the scam part of it. The scam is that they make you think its cheaper when its really not. Let me explain, my iPhone was $400 and I pay(well my dad pays) $20 a month for the internet, visual voice mail, and 200 text messages, all in one package. And thats not including minutes. Ok now on the new 3G iPhone its $200 for the phone, and $30 a month which includes, edge & 3G, visual voice mail, and gps. Notice anything different? no text messages included. Plus you have to pay for the minutes also. So basically you are paying less for the phone(so it seems like a better deal) and paying more a month. So in the long run its not a better deal.
I mean don't get me wrong your getting a lot for your money but the price is just outrageous to me. I will still probably end up getting one but I wont be happy about how much we're paying. There are some other things that you can pay for with the 3G iPhone but im not going to include them in this review. I may do more post about them later. Well i guess that about raps up my thoughts. Thanks for taking the time to read what i think.
MacBook Air Style Keyboard for iPhone & iPod Touch
Today while looking around at some packages in installer i came across this new keyboard mod. It makes your keyboard have the look of the Macbook Air's keyboard. You can get this mod from the Planet iPhones source/Big Boss source. If you have community sources you will have this already and it will be in the Planet-iPhones Mods folder of installer and the package is called MacBook Air Keyboard. Make sure if you have any other Keyboard mods install you uninstall them before you download this or else you could loose your keyboard file. I hope they will release a theme with this like they did with the Chromium Mod and Keyboard. If you look below there are a few pics of what the keyboard looks like in action.
Installer 4.0 Info
So a lot of people have been sending me message on when the installer 4.0 will be released for the 2.0 firmware. So i figured id make a post giving you the link to all of the info on Installer 4.0. But first i will talk briefly on it....From what i have been reading it is going to be faster, less bugs, less errors, and the sources will work a lot better with your phones ram. Also i really like the new design, it kinda to me looks like they kinda wanted it to be like the AppStore. They have all the info and pictures of what the new installer will look like on the RipDev page. And no they haven't posted a release date yey so i dont know, i expect it will be soon though.

A New iPod Touch Coming? & Price Drop on the Previous iPod Touch!
So...Apple is doing it again. Rumors have been spreading about a new iPod Touch in the works. Someone has been lurking around on apple's site and found some references to a new ipod. "iPod2,1" If you have looked at the .ipsw firmware files of the iPhone first gen compared to the firmwares of the 3G iPhone you will notice that the difference is from that number 1 to the number 2. Could it be the same with the iPod Touch? Lets hope so! And its not that big of a surprise seeing as how Apple usually releases a new iPod around August and September. Below is a litte excerpt from iPhoneFreakz.com post about this...
"What strikes me here is that the New iPod Nano is no longer going to have a clickwheel but it’s going to have much resembling with the Microsoft Zune (which i don’t expect to be a good thing). I am about to start posting some of the most recent blog post from the old blog to here. I will only get the important ones though.
TysiPhoneHelp Blog New Location!?!?!
So ive decided to move my blog over to Blogspot. And i will tell you the reason why, first off with a freewebs blog i can't edit and post new blog entree's with my iPhone while im out. And they actually have native apps that let me post from my iPhone on Blogspot, so ive just decided to switch. It also has a more "professional" look to it. I hope you enjoy the new layout.
